My custom furniture and custom cabinets and shelving create distinctive kitchens, offices, or libraries with each project having its own unique character. I specialize in rustic and traditional styles and enjoy incorporating traditional joinery techniques such as pegged bridal joints. Working with exotic and rare woods such as curly cherry and air-dried walnut, the resulting product is truly unique. Using traditional forged hinges and hardware make for an old world look and feel. Incorporating the use of modern materials such as melamine, stainless steel drawer sides and self-closing hardware add the modern conveniences of durability and ease of maintenance.

Rustic cabinet styles are built around the idea that everything in the room has been lived in. It highlights the wood grain for a natural look and often incorporates weathered and distressed features and textures. This warm and relaxed style brings the charm of nature indoors. I like combining a variety of natural materials, such as incorporating elements of copper or iron embellishments, to create my unique rustic designs.
